Hunting Accident Sends Grandfather To Hospital
December 1st, 2018 by iPhoneSunday morning, at approximately 10:30 AM, a hunting accident took place on Collins Line Road, in eastern Drew County.
Reports indicate that an out-of-town teenage male and his grandfather were hunting. The teenager’s shotgun went off, striking the barrel of his grandfather’s weapons, which sustained major damage, sending shrapnel into the cheek and facial area of the grandfather.
The man was taken by a personal vehicle to the Dumas hospital, and was expected to be transferred to central Arkansas, where they reside.
