Hospital Board Approves $25.7 Million Expansion

Thursday afternoon, the Drew Memorial Hospital board unanimously approved a $25.7 million hospital expansion program.
The expansion will include a new surgery center with 4 state of the art surgical rooms (large enough for orthopedic procedures) and 2 dedicated c-section, next to the labor & delivery area. These rooms will be used for outpatient procedures, as well.
The expected completion date shuld be mid-2017.

Its about time the hospital addressed its needs for a new Outpatient Clinic which should have happened during the last expansion.
