Around 11 AM, Friday morning, a highway construction worker was killed, approximately 3 miles south of Hamburg, in a road improvement accident.

The victim, believed to be an out-of-state employee, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Although information being released to the public is limited, we believe family members have been notified.

We were also told the accident reportedly involved a piece of road grading equipment.
