My dear beautiful sister, you left us way too soon,
And so now in all our hearts
There is such an open wound,
If only you had not taken that dreadful walk,
And called upon just one of us to talk,
I will always wish I could have saved you that day
But I did not know,
That your heart had taken such a blow,
I wish I could have made you realize,
How important you were to all our lives,
But that was not in God’s plans,
You are now in His hands,
Time doesn’t heal all wounds
And our memories will never fade,
On that fateful day your mind was already made,
You were such a brave and fearless one,
But now you rest with the Father and His Son,
I guess what I’m trying to say,
Is that we will all see you again one day,
And now all your pain and suffering is gone,
For our Father in Heaven is still on His throne.

This is a very sweet tribute to Lynn.
I went to school and rode the bus with her. She was a sweet and
lovely person. Keeping your family in my Prayers.

Oh Marty….I hurt for you, I miss her too and think of her often especially today….she and Mama have the same birthdays and never forgot each other on it!! Hang in there, love you, Jen

Marty, What a beautiful tribute to Lynn. I didn’t know that today was her birthday. As you said, time will never completely heal the wound.
