Guns & Money Stolen during Residential Burglary
September 11th, 2014 by iPhoneOn August 28, 2014 Deputy Jeremy Chapman and Lt. Tim Nichols were dispatched to a residence on Jose Chapel Cutoff in reference to a residential burglary.
When they arrived, the owner of the residence stated that he had left that morning to report for jury duty. When he returned home, he noticed that some money was missing off of his bed and began to look around. During this process he noticed that three firearms were also missing, along with some old silver and gold money.
On September 7, 2014 Lt. Nichols interviewed Glenn L. Williams , age 18 of Monticello. During this interview. Williams admitted to breaking into the residence and taking the items.
Williams is also facing charges of Residential Burglary by the Monticello Police Department. Williams is currently being held in the Drew County Jail.
