Greenhill Grocery Named “Homestead Farm Family of the Year” by Fair Board
September 30th, 2022 by Joe BurgessJeff and Michelle Pace, along with their sons and daughter, Dayton, Sam and Cheyanna England, were announced Thursday as the Drew County “Homestead Farm Family of the Year” by County Fair Board.
They are best known in Drew County from their regular participation in the farmers market, “market in the park,” Saturdays, at the courthouse.
The Paces grow tomatoes, potatoes, bell peppers, banana peppers, hot peppers, watermelons, cantaloupes, green beans, purple hull peas, okra, squash, and wide variety of everything.
This year completes their second lap year of being an independent farming operation, after Jeff was raised in the farming business, working with his dad, Shannon Pace.
Jeff is also employed at Summit (Centerpoint/Arkla) gas.
Dayton is a senior at Drew Central. Sam Is a junior at Drew Central. Both play/played football and basketball. Cheyanna is currently in a dental assistant program in Little Rock.
Congratulations to the Jeff Pace family, for continuing the “family tradition, of farming in Drew County.
