Gorman and Payne to Exchange Vows
October 10th, 2018 by SubmittedDavid and Regina Gorman, of Monticello, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Whitney Nicole Gorman, to Shaun Anthony Payne.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Billy and Monwalah of Hermitage, and R.L. and the late Alvanette Gates of Warren. Whitney is a 2005 graduate of Monticello High School. Whitney attended the University of Central Arkansas where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2009 and Master’s degree in Speech Pathology in 2011. Whitney is currently employed by ProCare Therapy as a Speech Pathologist in Monticello.
The prospective groom, Shaun Payne is the son of Windell and the late Ruby Payne of Lake Village. He is the grandson of the late Elmer and Floy Payne of Lake Village, and the late Earl and Louis Carter, also of Lake Village. Shaun is a 2000 graduate of Dermott High School. Shaun has formal training as a welder and is currently employed by Clearwater Paper Corporation in Arkansas City.
Whitney and Shaun will exchange vows in Monticello, AR on October 13th at an outdoor ceremony located at the Ridge on Wilson Mill. The ceremony will begin at 6:30pm with a reception immediately following; all friends and family are invited to attend.
