Good Deed Delivers 200+ Cases of Water
September 30th, 2019 by iPhone
Carthage, Arkansas is currently facing a water crises. The only well that supplies water to the town of about 300 stopped working on July 30, 2019. To support the citizens of Carthage, Anita Riley, Allen Smith, and Andrea Price led a water drive In Monticello in honor of their mother Sarah Lee Smith and their late father John Wesley Smith.
Thanks to the support of over 50 people in Monticello and throughout the United states, over 200 cases of water were shared with the citizens of Carthage. The family thanks everyone who donated.
Carthage is still without a working well and still needs water donations to help sustain the community. The Carthage Fire Station on Main Street is the drop-off location for donations.
