UAM Student Struck by Car, Tuesday Night – Update
April 23rd, 2014 by iPhoneAround 8:45 Tuesday night, police and an ambulance were called when a UAM student was struck by a car, between Drew Central and HWY 425. Contrary to earlier reports, the student was not a part of UAM athletics fundraising project for the Make-A-Wish foundation, the Fun Glow Run.
The female college student was running east on the white line at the edge of the road, when she was struck behind by a car driven by another UAM student.
She was transferred to Pine Bluff by SEEMS, with non-life-threatening injuries.
Arkansas State Troopers investigated the accident scene, assisted by UAM Public Safety Officers.

just to clarify, the event was not interrupted considering the girl that was struck was not even on the running course.
the race was a great event and turned out to be a wonderful evening–prayers going to the female who was struck.
