Ghost Hunters (SyFy Channel Show) at Allen House
January 21st, 2013 by Joe BurgessBright lights on North Main Street, Sunday night, caused extra traffic and many questions from local residents, about what was going on the Monticello favorite haunted house.
The planned excitement is because of Ghost Hunters visiting the Allen House, in preparation for a possible upcoming episode.

Love the Allen House and the Spencers. So proud that they are sharing their wonderful home.
i love ghost hunters. can’t wait to see it.
the allen house is not haunted…get a grip ppl..it was just a love affair gone bad….
I am so glad they are finally here. Many of us here in Drew county have dropped them a line over the years expressing our desire that they come and investigate The Allen House. It has been well known for many decades that the Allen house is haunted . It’s not often you come to a town and people don’t say “they say it’s haunted” we all or most of us make no bones about saying the Allen House ,yeah it’s haunted. Ms. Ladell doesn’t know shes dead.” So Welcome ya’ll and happy hunting .
Is the new episode about the Allen House in Monticello, Arkansas?
I’m so excited! I love the fact that Montitown is getting recognition from the more famously known ghost investigators. I’m not as fond of the Ghost Hunters, I prefer Ghost Adventures. I’m still gonna watch the new episode, and squee in excitement.
