Forrest Pleads Guilty, Gets 30 Years, Plus 40 Suspended
March 18th, 2014 by iPhoneA Drew County man agreed, Tuesday morning, to a plea bargain on 10 different cases, covering 28 different (nonviolent) counts relating to his August, 2013 crime spree across three counties.
The theft and burglary charges earned Timothy Forrest a 30 years prison sentence, plus 40 years suspended, which would be immediately imposed on Forrest, if he is arrested after release from prison.
An August MLive report showed….
12 Theft of Property,
12 Firearms Charges,
10 Residential Burglaries,
1 Commercial Burglary,
1 Stolen Car, and
1 Stolen ATV as pending charges at that time.
This plea agreement wrapped up Drew County’s charges, but Lincoln County may still have charges pending.
The estimated time Forrest will serve is estimated to around five years (1/6 of the sentenced time.
