First Day of School Went Well, Except for Traffic & Rain
August 19th, 2014 by Joe BurgessMonticello and Drew Central schools begin the new school year, Monday.
Monticello Superintendant Bobby Harper told MLive,
“Except for the rain and traffic congestion everything seemed to go really well. I visited all schools and several classrooms and saw a lot of excitement and enthusiasm about being back in school! We just wish for everyone a safe and happy school year”
A Drew Central staff member said, “The Drew Central school year started off smooth. The first day went well, with no issues, and we’re looking forwated to the 2014-2015 school year.”
