Fire Fatality, in Dermott

Sunday morning, at 2:58, a fire was reported at 600 S. Main St. in Dermott.
Dermott Fire Department responded, and called for assistance from the Collins – Coninto Fire Department.
Tabitha Woods, age 45, was not able to get out of the burning house, and died inside.
Her mother, Irene Woods, age 66, who was rescued by the firefighters, is in treatment for severe burns in a Little Rock hospital.
An investigation is being conducted by the Arkansas State Police.
