Female Arrested for Assisting Fleeing Felon
July 21st, 2015 by iPhoneMultiple arrest have been made in connection with the Brandon Cox escape incident.
Autumn Jones, age 32 of Monticello, was arrested Friday, by the Drew County Sheriff’s Office for the charge Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution (class D felony).
During a interview with officials Jones admitted to driving Cox to a residence in Calhoun County during the morning hours of July 15, a day after his disappearance.
Jones’s admitted she was aware of Cox’s actions and knew she should have reported information to law enforcement.
The other arrest were conducted by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office but it is unknown at this time who or what relation the suspects are to Cox. The investigation is currently still on going at this time and other arrest are possible.
