Felony Drug Arrests by Drug Task Force at Local Business
January 25th, 2011 by Joe BurgessDrug Task Force agents and Monticello Police arrested two Fordyce men on felony drug charges according to Lt. Jason Akers.
Task Force Agents received information that Coy Raybon, age 26, and Jeffery Null, age 23, purchased items commonly used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine at a local business. Task force agents notified Monticello Police who located and stopped the suspects. Officers received consent to search the vehicle and located items such as camp fuel, Draino, lithium batteries and cold packs containing ammonium nitrate.
Police arrested the suspects and charged them with possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture. Both suspects were out on bond for unrelated charges at the time of their arrest.
