FBI Investigating Monticello Case

Wednesday morning, at or before 8 AM, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents were seen serving a search warrant on a Monticello home, near the country club.
The address, shown in the photo, is located on Day Drive, and is assessed to Ted Hammett, a professor at UA Monticello, on county tax records. It should be noted, however, that no agency has specifically named him, in relation to the case.
When asked, UAM had no comment about the situation.
MLive contacted the Little Rock office of the FBI, who confirmed that the agency was in town, this morning, on a case, but declined to provide further information, because the investigation is still in progress.
