Oh, thats horrible. I’m truly sorry for her family and friends’ loss. That road really needs to be widened, it has no shoulder at all, just a drop off into a ditch for the majority of the road (all the way to Wilmar). I can remember nearly being run off that road by a dually once, there was barely any room to pass by, felt like his mirror nearly missed me. Remember to stay safe and be careful out there people, especially during rainy/icy days.
We never know when our time is at hand and I really hate this for the family of this lost loved one. We had them in our prayers at church this morning and added them to our prayer chain as well. We pray that God will give them the strength to endure this hard time that they’re facing. To the family..always know that there are people that are praying for you at this time. Our prayers are with you..May God Bless..
BArkada Rd is one of the most dangerous roads in the county, it is narrow with nowhere to go if meeting a driver coming at you and taking more of the road than they should, not to mention how fast some people drive.
it is not unusual for vechicle traveling at excesive speeds, passing in areas that are not safe to do so, they pass on curves with solid yellow lines. there have been many terrible accidents on this road due to speed
The above I know for a fact as I live on this road and am eyewitness to many a speedor and reckless driving habits, I was also forced very close to a ditch from a speeding vechicle who was also passing on a curve and when I regaine control of my vechicle and nerves I tried to catch up with this vechicle and it was traveling so fast that within seconds this car was totally our of site
My sympthaties to Amber’s family and I am in hope that law enforcement will nomitor the behavior of drivers who have no regard for the lives of others let alone their own
OMG I AM SO Sorry For that family and I hope her Family’s OK!!!!!!!!!!
