Monticello’s brand-new Family Dollar store, located next to Walgreens at 425/278, plans to be open for business Thursday.

Currently, 12 local employees are arranging the stores fixtures, and began receiving merchandise last week.

Family Dollar stores carry a wide range of products, from clothing, to housewares, to toys, to food items (including refrigerated items in the Monticello store).
