“Explosion” & Fire Destroys Collins Residence

At 4:05, Friday morning, Monticello dispatch received a call from Collins, reporting an “explosion,” near 3rd and Main Street.
Collins-Cominto and Dermott fire departments responded, along with Drew County Sheriffs Deputies.
The residence, which had a fire previously, was totally destroyed, as shown in the photograph.
