Explosion Destroys Local Home

Tuesday, at 5:35 PM, Monticello dispatch sent Drew County Deputies and Monticello Fire Dept. to Ras Pace Road, for the report of an explosion at a residence.
The mobile home sustained severe damage from the explosion, when someone was hooking up a new gas stove.
Multiple parties received injuries and burns to their faces, hands and arms. Seems transported for injured victims to Drew Memorial Hospital for treatment.
