Ex- Breaks into Lady’s Home, She Calls MPD, reporting that She Shot Him
May 19th, 2021 by Joe BurgessLast Tuesday at 8:40 AM, MPD received a phone call from a resident of the College Street apartment complex, Monticello Estates, reporting that her ex- had broken into her home, and she had shot him.
He fled the apartment after shot shot was fired. A short search by MPD officers located him (The gun shot had missed him. ) and took him in for questioning.
Aaron Lashawn Martin’s charges include residential burglary, theft of property, and 2 counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
His bond was set at $50,000, and he continues to be held in the Drew County Detention Facility
