At 1:45 Sunday afternoon, 3 occupants of this Cadillac Escalade were injured after the vehicle crashed into a power pole, before driving through the wall of the Monticello Textbooks Bookstore, on HWY 425, near UAM.

MPD and DCSO responded, as did SEEMS and MASI. As reported that three occupants of the Cadillac received medical care.

Entergy was paged to repair the electric pole, which was broken into several pieces.
