You will be asked to show your photo ID. You will be asked to state your name, date of birth and address. If you have moved, please feel free to go ahead and call my office for the change of address. This will make your voting experience a lot simpler and hassle free. This is the Preferential Primary Election and you will be asked, “IN WHICH PARTY PRIMARY DO YOU WISH TO VOTE IN”? This means you will have to tell the poll worker which ballot you want, either a REPUBLICAN BALLOT OR A DEMOCRATIC BALLOT OR A NON-PARTISAN BALLOT.
We ask you to be courteous, patient and polite while in the polls. Please remove all campaign attire before entering the poll site. We want your voting experience to go as smooth as possible. Anyone having problems or concerns, may contact my office at (870) 853-2020.
Ashley County has recently opened Vote Centers. What does this mean for the voter? Voters can now go to ANY OF THE LOCATIONS listed below to cast their ballot on ELECTION DAY, March 3rd, 2020. A voter is no longer confined to one polling site. (For example: An Ashley County voter that lives in Wilmot, can now vote in Crossett on Election Day. Another example: If an Ashley County voter gets off work at 6:30 p.m. and wants to cast his/her ballot, then all the voter has to do is find a vote center near him/her.) AS ALWAYS, YOU CAN ONLY VOTE ONCE.
