Egg Truck Likely Cause of 80 Acre Drew County Forest Fire
July 31st, 2012 by Joe BurgessWhile covering the 70 acre forest fire in the Rock Springs ares, MLive spoke to a neighbor who had seen an “egg truck” dragging it’s lift-gate as it traveled down the roadway, throwing sparks as it went.
Sheriff Mark Gober then contacted the witness, and the refridgerated 18-wheeler was located at a nearby poultry farm, and a report filed, as the sheriff returned the large piece of metal that had finally fallen from the “tommy-gate” back to the big-rig driver.
