Egg Truck Likely Cause of 80 Acre Drew County Forest Fire
July 31st, 2012 byWhile covering the 70 acre forest fire in the Rock Springs ares, MLive spoke to a neighbor who had seen an “egg truck” dragging it’s lift-gate as it traveled down the roadway, throwing sparks as it went.
Sheriff Mark Gober then contacted the witness, and the refridgerated 18-wheeler was located at a nearby poultry farm, and a report filed, as the sheriff returned the large piece of metal that had finally fallen from the “tommy-gate” back to the big-rig driver.
