Early Morning Crash Impales Car onto Bridge Rail

Sunday morning, around 1:30, MPD received a call reporting a single vehicle accident on the bridge on E. Oakland St.
Upon arrival they found this Mercury Gran Marquis impaled on the bridge safety rail.
The driver had fled the scene, implying there were no serious injuries. Due to the damage to the car, it was obvious there were no passengers in the vehicle.
Rod’s Wrecker worked to remove the Mercury from the bridge, before towing it.
