DWI Arrestee Attempts to bring Gun into Jail
December 31st, 2011 by Joe BurgessA 25 year old Lincoln County woman was arrested earlier this month by the Arkansas State Police.
She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Careless Driving, Improper Lane Change, No Seat Belt, Furnishing Prohibited Articles in a Jail, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Carrying a Weapon.
Kacey A. Ferguson, age 25 of Star City allegedly, as she was being booked into the Drew County Detention Facility, was found to have in her possession a glass pipe (commonly used for drug purposes) and a 38 caliber handgun.

Aren’t the police officers supposed to search prisoners before putting them in the police car and bringing them to jail?

LOL at Fred. CSP, I thought so too. I’ve seen plenty of people arrested and they were patted down before bein g put in the car. She could have pulled the gun out and killed an officer.
