September 4th, 2020 by Joe BurgessAround 2:15, p.m., Thursday afternoon, while most of Drew County was being bombarded by heavy rains, due to Hurricane Laura’s leftover circulation, the driver of this southbound Buick lost control of the car in the rain, leaving the roadway at James Brown Road, traveling into the tree line, west of Highway 425, north of Monticello.
The driver and two passengers were transported by SEEMS to Drew Memorial Hospital for further medical treatment.
Reggie’s Wrecker removed the Buick from the wooded area, restoring normal traffic flow.
