Drugs & Guns Lead to Local Arrest

10th DTF seize over $22,500 in cash, approximately 9.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine , 2 firearms, Schedule 4 pills, and Drug Paraphernalia
On November 21, 2023, agents of the Tenth District Drug Task Force and ACC Probation and Parole performed a legal search on a residence in Drew County. During the search, agents located a gun, a syringe common for injecting methamphetamine , and a large amount of cash. The occupants in the residence were known felons.
A search warrant was then executed on a vehicle parked outside the residence. Agents located a lockbox with approximately 9.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine , a bottle of suspected Klonopin, more cash, digital scales, and another gun hidden in a compartment.
Arrested was Kevin Fryar of Drew County on the charges of Possession of Firearm by Certain Person, Simultaneous Poss of Drugs and Firearms, Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule 4 with Purpose to Deliver, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia .
This was and still is an ongoing investigation. The 10th DTF wants to thank ACC agents and Drew County sheriff Department.
