DWI Driver Arrested for Leaving Scene of Gas Pump Crash
July 23rd, 2015 by iPhoneA 42 year old Monticello woman was arrested by Monticello Police, Tuesday night, after they responded to Jenkins Quick Check on HWY 278 East, to the report of a hit & run driver knocking a gas-pump onto another car.
Amber Harper was arrested, and is facing multiple charges, and her Mercury Sable was towed by C&L Wrecker.
Jenkins pump was destroyed, but they will hopefully be back in the gasoline business, Wednesday. They will be open, serving food, convenient store items, and cold drinks in the meantime.
Harper is facing charges of DWI, driving on suspended license, and leaving the scene of an accident.
