Drive Safely, Flooded Roads, Falling Trees

As you drive around Monticello and Drew County, this week, please use caution.
The top photo shows a Cadillac sedan that lost control in the flooded lane of the 1600 area of Winchester Road, and ended up flooded in the ditch, shortly after 7 AM, this morning. DCSO worked the accident, Reggie’s Wrecker removed the Cadillac.
The second photo shows a large tree, brought down because of water-saturated ground and stormy weather, on College Street, between Hyatt and Borchardt Streets, last night. College Street is closed until city workers can clear the area, hopefully this morning.
