“Drilled” Water Main Floods Bailey & Union Area, Shuts Down Service
December 1st, 2021 by Joe Burgess
Around 5:15, Wednesday evening, a drilling machine, shown above, was working in the area of Bailey Street, reaching as far as Union Street, when they reportedly struck a water main, flooding the area, and causing service outages to many water customers.
City crews were quickly on the site, and working to remedy the situation.
Hopefully water will be restored, soon.
