This alligator was captured by AG&F officers, Thursday morning, around 10 am on HWY 278 East near Dollar Hill in eastern Drew County.

The capture was done safely for the gator, as well as the officers, who are trained in the task.

The gator was estimated to be 8″ 7″ long, and was transported to a “more appropriate” environment.
