Drew County 4-H WHEP Team Attends Statewide Contest
May 11th, 2022 by Club OfficerDrew County 4-H WHEP Team (Wildlife Habitat Education Program) recently attended the statewide contest, recently. 4-H youth from across the state competed in different events to test their ability to identify local wildlife and manage their habitat.
This year, Drew County had one Jr. team and one Sr. team compete. The Jr. team, consisting of Ada Ratliff, Bliss Becker, Ben Copico, and Aurora Osborne placed third in their division. The Sr. team which consisted of Sy Lanthrip, Job Rogers, Adrian Ratliff, and Chole Russel placed first and earned the right to attend the National WHEP invitational, which is to be held in London, Kentucky. Chole Russell also placed first in the individual competition.
