Downtown Network Grant Presentation
January 21st, 2017 by iPhoneA $1000 downtown revitalization matching grant was recently awarded to Don and Kay Koen by the Monticello Downtown Network program.
The matching grant funds were used to install an awning skirt across the front of the building occupied by Mina Rae’s Antiques.
The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program awarded the grant funds to the Monticello Downtown Network Program for use in assisting property owners with the revitalization efforts of businesses located in Monticello’s downtown historic district.
Monticello participated in the grant program along with downtown networks in Arkadelphia, Clarksville, Forrest City, Fort Smith, Hardy, Heber Springs, Malvern, Morrilton, Newport, Paris, Pine Bluff, Pocahontas, Rector, Warren and Wynne. The Monticello Downtown Network is administered by The Monticello-Drew County Chamber of Commerce.
