Divers Fish Chevy Out of Lake Monticello
May 20th, 2013 by Joe BurgessFriday, around noon, the Monticello Fire & Rescue Dive Team was called to Lake Monticello, where a couple fishing were trying to load their boat onto its trailer.
The Chevy pick-up’s motor shut off, causing the vehicle to slowly roll back into the lake.
A nearby SeaArk worker helped get the female driver out of the vehicle, and no one was injured.
Divers swam out to the submerged truck, hooked a tow-line to the vehicle, and rode it back to the loading ramp.
