District Court Clerk Earns National Certification
September 27th, 2019 by iPhoneMonticello District Court Clerk, Julie Watkins, recently completed all requirements set forth by the National Center for State Courts and was recognized by the Arkansas Supreme Court as a Certified Court Manager.
In earning her certification, Mrs. Watkins completed 120 hours in topics including: Court Performance Standards, Project Management for Courts, Purposes & Responsibilities of Courts, etc.
“The Arkansas certification program is part of the Court Management Program (CMP) available through the National Center for State Courts’ Institute for Court Management. This program provides training specific to trial court management and administration.” This is a nationally recognized accomplishment pursued annuallyby District Court Clerks, Circuit Court Clerks, their staffs and employees of the Administrative Office of the Courts. The Court Management Program was established in2011.
Ms. Watkins is shown with District Judge Bruce Anderson and Supreme Court Associate Justice Robin F. Wynne, who presented Ms. Watkins with the Arkansas Certified Court Manager certificate.
