Morning Update on Delta / Dermottt Prison Escapee

At 7:30 PM, Tuesday evening, the Arkansas Department of Correction issued a press release stating, “The ADC is maintaining a Command Center to coordinate with law enforcement. However, there are no active in-state leads at the moment.”
ADC has updated area media sources throughout the day, Tuesday, and MLive will post additional updates as developments arise.
At approximately 8 am, the above named inmate escaped while working on a field utility squad in a cornfield near the Delta regional unit in Dermott.
An active search is under way to recapture the inmate by ADC staff and local law enforcement.

Afternoon update
Woodward has a beard and a cropped hair cut, similar to the 2013 booking photo. His beard has started to grey. The screen grab of the surveillance video shows his current build.
Woodward is believed to have stolen a white 2013 Ford F-250 truck hauling a green John Deere lawn tractor from an area gas station. License plate AR-764UZM.

UPDATE 10:30 am
Good sources report to MLive that the escapee was seen driving a stolen Ford work truck with a trailer and tractor away from a convenience store in Dermott.
The trailer was left south of Dermott near a farm.
The suspect was last seen driving the white pick-up south on Highway 165, towards Wilmot and Louisiana.
