Defense’s Opening Argument at Murder Trial – Noon Update
August 28th, 2014 by iPhoneattorney Gary Potts took the podium at 11:10, describing the suspect and victims relationship and intimacy, previously and on the day of her accidental death by asphyxiation.
Defense told that they were in bed, and when he awoke and she was dead, that he didn’t react right, when he took her to her grave.
Potts continued that Williams went to officers, with an attorney, to tell them what happened, and where she was buried.
The victim ‘s mother took the stand at 11:20, followed by a SEAT van driver, then AT&T and Verizon representatives, who described the cell phone and text message records between Williams and Ms. Walton on that day.
Court took lunch recess at noon.
