Death Penalty Issues Send Several Jurors Home
October 31st, 2018 by iPhoneSeveral potential jurors were released for not being willing to impose a Death Penalty Sentence, for the 2 Capital Murder charges, if convicted.
One juror was dismissed for saying he couldn’t consider a Life Without Parole sentence, for capital murder, because it should earn a Death Sentence.
Approximately a dozen panel members spoke to Judge Sam Pope at the bench, about their personal issues with the case/sentencing issues and concerns. Around half of those were then released from the jury panel.
