Dealers Text Cop, Offer to Sell Weed

Recently, Monticello Police Detective Hank Hollinger received a text message from an unknown number. The message contained a picture of what appeared to be a large amount of marijuana in a vacuum sealed bag.
Drug Task Force agents were contacted and the officers began a conversation with the person posing as a buyer. A time and place was established along with the price and amount that was to be delivered.
DTF and MPD officers set up in a location in Monticello and awaited on the delivery.
The suspects showed up and were taking into custody with out incident. A significant amount of marijuana was found in the vehicle along with a large amount of cash.
Suspects are LaCharles Nimmer and Tommy Morrison Jr. both of McGehee. Each was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and both have posted a $5000.00 bond.

Very thankful to our police for their hard work. You guys are awesome!
If weed was legal it could have saved tax payers a lot of money but we all it’s not, yet. I never see a news story about arrest’s for cocaine, ice, heroine, etc. They do exist in our small towns in Seark. My effort needs to be made in that area.
