HAT DAY – FCCLA is selling Hat Day stickers on Fridays. Purchase your sticker from Mrs. Vance for $1.00
LETTERMAN JACKETS – If you ordered a letterman jacket, they are in. Please see Coach Goad for the remainder of your balance.
TACO BELL ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM – Taco Bell sponsors a Certificate of Achievement Program. If you made the honor roll, had perfect attendance, or made the citizenship list, you may pick up your Taco Bell certificate between classes. However, you are not to be tardy to class trying to pick up your certificate. You may redeem your certificate at any participating Taco Bell. Congratulations on your achievements! Keep up the good work! 10th – 12th Grades may pick up their certificates from Mrs. Adcock in the counselors office.
REMINDER – Students are not to have blankets or wear pajamas to school.
YEARBOOKS – The 2016-17 yearbook is on sale. Cost is $50. See any journalism student or Ms. Atkins to place your order. There are also a few 2015-16 yearbooks left. If you would like one, see Ms. Atkins.
DREW CENTRAL PTO – The Drew Central PTO is offering Pirate spirit shirts for $10, order forms are in the office. Also for sale in the office are scented pencils for $1.00 and scented pens for $2.00.
Attention Seniors – Time is winding down until graduation! Purchase your senior ad before Friday, March 17. See Ms. Atkins for details.
DRIVERS TEST – Students if you plan to take your driver’s test, you will need to stop by the counselors’ office and fill out a request form for the necessary paperwork.

SCHOLARSHIP’S
Seniors, please visit the counselor’s webpage on the Drew Central High School website. You may access online scholarships and start filling out your college applications!
Juniors: The 2017 Hamilton Award Application is now open, please stop by the counselor’s office for detailed information.
2016 Cutler-Bell Prize for High School Computing –Seniors Only – $10,000 reward for creating an artifact that engages modern computing technology and computer science. Instructions are in the counselor’s office.

If you are interested in participating in Boys or Girls state this summer please see the counselor to fill out an application. This experience is great for all juniors and will look wonderful on your senior resume.
Kiwanis Scholarship-Any 2017 high school graduate planning to attend UAM in the Fall. $500.00
Junior Auxiliary-Any graduating female student may apply. Award is $1,000. Deadline April 14th
Arkansas Superior Federal Credit Union-Must be a graduating senior with a family member who is a member of ASFCU. Award is $1,000. Deadline is April 25.
If you are a daughter/granddaughter or son/grandson of a member of Farm Bureau please come get a scholarship application in the counselor’s office.
The Drew County EHC will offer 1 academic scholarship for the 2017-2018 school term. The scholarship is $1,000 made payable to the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Please come to the counselor’s office for the application.
National School Plant Management Association Scholarship-Any graduating high school senior seeking a two year or four year college degree is eligible to apply. Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $1500.
Native American Scholarship Award-Any senior who is a documented Native American can apply for the scholarship. Scholarship amount is $500.
Stephens Scholarship for Delta Students-Any senior who wishes to attend college in Arkansas can apply for this scholarship.
