DC Hires DCE Principal Nancy Chapman as Superintendent

At a special called board meeting Tuesday night the Drew Central school board hired elementary school principal Nancy Chapman to serve as the district’s superintendent for the upcoming year starting July 1.
This will be her 20th year in education and third year at Drew Central.
“Serving as the next Drew Central school district superintendent is an honor and privilege. I am excited about this opportunity and will work hard to continue to see Drew Central grow and thrive. Drew Central is a district that puts its students’ needs at the forefront, and I will continue to do that as I transition into this new role. I appreciate the board for giving me this opportunity and promise the board, staff, students, and community that I will work hard to make Drew Central “the” district you want to work for, learn from, and be a part of!” – Nancy, Chapman.
