DC EAST Celebrates “One of Our Own,” Zack Brown’s EAST story..

Through EAST I have been educated in fields that typical high school classes don’t touch. EAST has given me tools and hands-on training that I’ve needed to help me succeed in my career choice.
Through the trainings, I have met many people who viewed my work and gave me lots of opportunities to demonstrate my abilities. I have built animations for Arkansas Youth Conference and PorVelo bike shop in Fort Collins, Colorado. I also spent two weeks in Colorado filming a commercial for ProVelo as well as TownPump, a local establishment that sponsors pro mountain bike and trail riders through video and other means. During my time in Colorado, I made connections with a film maker that I will be helping make a video for National Geographic’s “Wicked Tuna”. The opportunities that EAST can connect you with are ENDLESS.
