David Anderson was recently selected by the City Council to serve as interim mayor following the resignation of Zack Tucker, two weeks ago.

Anderson served as mayor of Monticello from 2003–2006, and prior to that was a local business owner.

MLive spoke to Anderson, Monday. He told us that he is still undecided as to whether he would seek the remaining two year’s of tuckers unexpired term.
