County Home Destroyed by Fire

A Drew county home was destroyed by fire, Friday afternoon, around 1:30.
Monticello and Collins – Cominto Fire Departments responded, battling the blaze on S. 16 Section Road, which had fully engulfed the residence before it was noticed.
The fire departments use their tank trucks to transport water from S. Bordeaux Road to the fire, where it was sprayed onto the burning residents by tanker trucks.
