Congratulations! to MHS Concert Choir & Madrigals

Congratulations! to Monticello High School Concert Choir and Madrigals. MHS Choir earned Superior 1st Division ratings at the State CPA at UCA last Thursday. These ratings, combined with their 1st division ratings in both performance and sight reading at the Region 3 CPA, give MHS Choir the 2018 STATE Sweepstakes Trophy.
Our kids demonstrated great “Billie Pride” and the tradition of excellence as representatives of the school and community. MHS Choirs have earned 11 State Sweepstakes and 3 “Best in Class” 4A State Champs in the last 6 years. “It has been a joy and blessing to teach such good, talented and hard working youth,” says choir director, Bennie Vincent.
We are thankful to our parents, MSD faculty, staff, administration, and community for your continued support and kind words of encouragement.
We look forward to your presence at our annual spring concert on Thursday, April 26 @ 6:30 p.m. in the MMS auditorium, as we sing farewell to our seniors.
