Concrete Truck Rollover in Dead Man’s Curve
November 23rd, 2022 by Joe Burgess
At 9 AM, Tuesday morning, the driver of this eastbound loaded concrete truck lost control of his vehicle in Dead Man’s Curve, 2 miles east of Monticello on Highway 278.
The concrete truck overturned in the north ditch, spilling a small amount of concrete, with most of it remaining in the barrel.
Big record remove the truck, however, will return this morning to retrieve the barrel, still loaded with harden concrete.
The bottom photo shows, OEM staff, applying oil dry onto the highway, for the safety of traffic, later in the day.
Drivers may choose to take another route to Dumas/McGehee/Dermott, due to the likely road closure.
