Concealing Birth & Abuse of Corpse Trial, Underway
March 3rd, 2016 by iPhoneThe jury is currently being selected in the Drew County courthouse in the case of Anne Bynum, who is accused of concealing a birth and abuse of a corpse.
3 friends, including Bynum, who was pregnant at the time, went to Little Rock, last year, and allegedly used medications to cause her to go into labor, early.
According to statements in earlier hearings, they planned to take the baby to Children’s Hospital, after it was delivered.
However, the fetus did not deliver, so Bynum took more of “the pills”, and returned home. Upon arriving at home, she, again, took more pills.
At home, she reportedly gave birth, put the infant in a plastic bag in her car, to hide it from her parents, and went back to bed.
After speaking to a lawyer, she then took the body to the hospital, where it was pronounced dead.
