Monticello Mural Completed & Signed

The mural’s design depicts 8-9 postcard-style images that encompass some of the things that make Monticello proud.
The mural is like a “page out of a scrapbook”, and has little details including stamps, stickers, and banners to add special elements throughout the artwork.
The project is expected to take around 4 weeks to complete, depending on weather conditions.
About the artist: Erin Ashcraft is a born and raised Monticellonian. She graduated from Monticello High School in 2014, and went on to study art and intercultural studies at Southwest Baptist University in Missouri. She now resides in Rogers, Arkansas working as a full time artist and muralist.
The project is being funded by the Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Development Network and grants.
