Collision on East Gaines St. Blocks Traffic

At 11:15 AM, Tuesday morning, according to sources at the scene, the driver of this Nissan Rogue was pulling out of a driveway on the south side of E. Gaines St., near Exxon, when it entered the path of an eastbound Mercedes-Benz.
Monticello Police and MASI responded. The drivers were checked out but declined medical attention.
Rods Wrecker and Reggie‘s Towing removed the vehicles.
All but one lane of traffic was blocked, but the roadway is now open.
